  Faculty Biography

 

Robert S. Freelove, MD

 

Dr. Freelove became the program director on June 2, 2006. He joined Smoky Hill Family Medicine as Associate Director in 2003. Dr. Freelove graduated from the University of Kansas in 1996 and received his medical degree from KU in 2000. He completed his residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine in 2003. In 2002, Dr. Freelove was awarded a Bristol-Myers-Squibb/AAFP award for excellence in GME, one of 20 given nationally. Dr. Freelove enjoys participating in golf, and coaching his son's basketball team. He is somewhat of a movie buff and has a passion for cooking. He has special interests in the patient centered medical home and sports medicine.
