Curriculum

 

The curriculum includes block rotations and longitudinal learning experiences. Block rotations are four weeks in length.

Behavioral Science/Community Medicine 4 weeks
Smoky Hill On Call (SHOC) 4 weeks
Inpatient Pediatrics 4 weeks
Care of the Elderly Patient (COP) 4 weeks
Dermatology/Radiology 2 weeks
Electives 6 weeks
Second Year
Family Medicine Center 3 half - days per week
Obstetrics (or elective) 8 weeks
Smoky Hill Inpatient Medicine (SHIP) 10 weeks
Practice Management 2 weeks
Trauma Selective 4 weeks
Cardiology 4 weeks
Smoky Hill Emergency (SHER) 4 weeks
ICU 4 weeks
Care of the Elderly Patient (COP) 4 weeks
Orthopedics 4 weeks
Outpatient Pediatrics 4 weeks
Electives 4 weeks (12 weeks total)
Third Year
